My mirror has two faces-
One I hate;
And one I can't see-
The one I look at;
And the one that looks at me.
One that smiles;
And one that cries-
One applying the mascara;
And one with it falling from their eyes.

I continue to stare,
She only stares back;
I soon start to realize,
She sees everything that I lack.
I draw back and start to cry,
My tears soon fog up the mirror;
The girl on the other side, is the only thing I have left to fear.

My fist tightens, and slams towards her perfect face,
Her countenance breaks into pieces, as I watch her fall from grace.
I open my mouth to scream,
But only continue to weep;
Once she was high upon the wall,
Now, she's fallen beneath my feet.
Once she was whole, and now she is broken,
Her eyes are sad, but no words are spoken.

I finally recognize her,
Now that she's broken on the floor;
I see a face that is a stranger to me, no more.
