Looking for the real thing. I am originally from London but moved to the Trossachs region of Scotland in early 2008.

I'm passionate, tactile, quirky, expressive and I love to laugh. I embrace what people (including myself) tend to refer to as an alternative lifestyle and I enjoy standing out from the crowd.
I am a passionate photographer and compulsive blogger. Shopping is another vice of mine. Make up/cosmetics, corsets and jewellery are all my guilty pleaures, I can't get enough of them.
My favourites - Colour: Green. Drink: Bourbon or Ameretto coffee. Food: Pizza!

I have a variety of hobbies which include reading, cinema/DVD, socialising with friends, various crafty things, painting, photography (see above), growing bonsai, writing, blogging, walking with my dog, collecting anything to do with owls, cooking, gardening and last but by no means least music.
My favourite artists include - Type O Negative, Anathema, Epica, VAST, Metallica, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Orphaned Land, Riverside, Amorphis, VNV Nation, Covenant, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, HIM, My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Dead Can Dance and plenty of others.

I am pretty geeky, I collect all kinds of sci fi and fantasy memorabillia inlcuding Edge Dolls, Living Dead Dolls, McFarlane action figures etc. I love folklore and mythology and anything else which affords me some well earned escapism.

The things I am looking for in a man are fairly straightforward. I really need to be loved and be able to give love back. I'd like someone caring, gentle and supportive. A man who's masculine but who isn't afraid of his own emotions or mine would be a HUGE plus. Long hair is always a turn on but not essential although my ideal man does need to be taller than me.

By the way, I have selected "Prefer not to say" as my weight as I have no idea what I weigh in Ibs. My bodytype is slim average/12-14 UK size.
