Carnageant, 37

Moonbeams fall through tattered veils, covering shattered windows.
A crimson mass, splashed across mottled walls.
The shadows crawl across the grimy floors, decayed timber falling to the foundation.
You asked me to look within myself… This is all I see.
My heart, once whole; now decayed.
Once ensnared by a love thought to be eternal, thought as forevermore.
Now broken, shattered beyond recognition; a shell of what it should be.
My mind, once creative and fruitful; now unfeeling and devoid of thought.
Once enraptured by the very core of creativity, once thought as brilliantly poetic.
Now sullen and dark, devoid of emotion; the breeding ground for the darkest of imagery.
Perhaps I was once a man of taste; perhaps I felt feelings like most people do.
For I do not remember a time when my mind reveled in such luxuries.
Drink deep of my crimson tears, flowing from the sorrow in my never closing eyes.
My pain; my sorrow everlasting.
A ruined soul; beautifully dark, yet never truly loved.

I am myself and nothing more; I try to be sincere and i ask for the same. Honesty is the only thing I ask.
