Claude Monet once said: "Last autumn I burned six paintings with the dead leaves from my garden. It is enough to make you lose all hope. And I believe that he was right. Who knows anything about tomorrow.

I suppose that being an artist influenced by Toulouse-Lautrec, Artemisia Gentileschi, Sandro Botticelli, and many of the French Impressionists has made me a bit... well... obnoxious about certain things. It's funny really, because I don't think I am but I'm perceived that way.

I like good intellectual conversation and I hate awkward silences which is why I don't really like talking on the telephone.
