i can be a little sullen and withdrawn until someone rattles my cage or i find my footing and get started on a topic i'm passionate about.

i have a rather bitter, snide, sarcastic, sometimes dry and dark and regularly british sense of humour.i believe humour is the foundation for any worthwhile friendship or relationship and have no time for people who are easily offended or who can't laugh at themselves, each other, situations and the stupidity of others.

i've recently strarted clawing my way back to some semblance of a social life after years in self imposed isolation by going to local gigs (goth night and dark 80's etc)
so lets hope you can teach an old goth new tricks. dark_dapper_or_deranged if you are in auckland and want to meet up, i will usually be at every goth night (ding dong lounge) and dark 80's gig (whammy bar) either lurking in a dark corner or outside smoking cloves.
