I suppose you could call me "Gothic" if only because I tend to wear black and have a macabre sense of humour, but I'm not exactly a Goth. Well, a bit of a Goth, maybe.

I'm new in Sydney, and I don't have a favourite restaurant yet, so it'd be great to have someone to help me to find one. My favourite food is generally something spicy. Also a really good pie, but I haven't yet found one in Australia. Sad truth. Maybe you can help me in the crisp pastry and savoury filling department.

I'm interested in nearly everything. I enjoy making things, photography, literature, painting, sculpture, music. I'm not outdoorsy, although I like a quiet walk. I like animals, but not being overrun by them. Job? I trained as a designer but ended up as a writer. Well, a copywriter (it still counts).

My favourite movie is still Blade Runner, my favourite band is Swans, although they have stiff competition from Pink Floyd. I'm not big on picking favourites, generally. Too much great art out there.

I'm looking for someone to make friends with and explore the city, watch the occasional movie, to sit in the park and have a picnic, eat pizza and goof off. Friendship, basically, but certainly there's room for more. Quiet is good, funny is better. Intelligence is a prerequisite, I'm afraid.
