I hate writing these things. Whatever I say doesn't sound right.

Here goes.

After years of boring jobs I've been able to enjoy some of the things I want to do.

I'm an artist. Done drawings and paintings but at the mo' doing pictures from scrap plastic, glass etc.

I've also been a writer for a long time but I've had an extremely convoluted life. Some writing's been academic - done different degrees, the most rewarding's a Masters in Gender Studies. Some writing's been poetry/lyrics - was a singer for several bands. Now I'm re-editing my first book while writing my second.

Personally? I don't fit in to labels. I'm very honest and open (my Gender Studies helped there). I hate egos. I wear my heart on my sleeve but I'm very rational when dealing with problems (my artwork's a mix of the two here!). I'm quite mellow but get angry very quickly at injustice. I have a cat who's a big baby. I have a small number of close friends but all I cherish.

I love chatting, seeing theatre, going out to places, clubs or just being in, drinking wine, perhaps cooking something special.
