I have known darkness as a friend, as a companion who has walked beside me showing me the joy and pleasure that can only be found in the pain which this life provides so well

It taunts me like a beautiful woman whom I will never touch, yet knowing so well the scent of her which fills my soul and stirs my ardor to heights extreme.

Guiding me to the apex of passion and love just to rend it from within me like a useless organ or severed limb, leaving me empty in tragedy and mourning.

I have been to the brink of the abyss and found comfort in misery, confusion in clarity and the morbidity of truth that can be known in not only its depths but in all of its periphery.

Darkness has served as harbinger for horror and pain, yet it has shared in the grief that it allows me to know. Always there for me to trust in and to know I will find it again no matter what I may go through.

I have known the comfort of dread as it folds itself around me in counsel as though to let me know that I will survive today for one reason and one reason alone… for there is still so much more agony yet to come to me.

Darkness has spawned the s----lity I have enjoyed in this life and nurtured the ecstasy that can only be found in pain. And it has taken me so near to death that I know what it is to truly be alive.
