Where is Love?

In these violent times of crime and hate

There is only one thing left

That maybe worth all the world

Ones love for another



However in few occasions the tables have turned

And in this search for love

Ones eternal soul is lost in the deep abyss of reality

The most common of is the need for ----



---- is disguised as love for only a moment

And in an instant can plunge us from our throne

Which we have worked so hard to build

Such a jump is the cause of death for so many young ones



In other occasions the most pitiful of acts

The lack of acceptance by the cruelty of the modern society

Ones believes in physical attraction, race

religion, or other association



Thing that once bind us by our differences

Now only separate us from our selves

Good without evil, angel without demon

Black without white, them without us



These horrible measurements of standards

Have left us without the ability to even see what rest within ones self

How can we hope to even find love

If we can not even gaze into each others eyes to search for it



I do not want to be a statistic of this gamble of moderation no longer

Riches are worth nothing without some one to be there to share it

Am I king with out a queen,

Or just an empty crown of suffering



All I ask is do not judge us by our appearance

To not lie to get our love

Stare into our souls to before judgment

Only by this may we see if love still exist
