Dark part of "Tall, dark, and handsome" I cook, clean, make people laugh (on purpose mostly), exercise, and I keep the toilet seat down. What more could you want? OK, I'll share a bit more. I find it easier to pretend to be a child than it is to pretend to be an adult. I seem to be neither. In public I'm very reserved (perhaps intimidating, though unintentional). In private, however, I'm actually quite silly and constantly make witty remarks about everything. I sometimes think of myself as being a strange kind of sitcom character.
I am honest to a fault. I'm usually very aware of my honesty and never try to hurt anyone's feelings. I don't offer opinions without being asked, but if you ask if you look fat in something I will tell you. If I ask something it's because I want the truth. I once apologized for a white lie (the kind where no one gets hurt) the next time I really talked to that person (even though it was about 10 years later).
As far as movies go I like mainly ultra-gory horror films (CGI doesn't count), fantasy, sci-fi, and martial arts (Chinese, Thai, and Japanese mostly). It's pretty rare that I like a comedy. I love to laugh, but I can't relate to most modern comedies. Rarer still do I enjoy a drama. Again, modern dramas are more concerned with imaginary plights of individuals rather than the larger issues of humanity and existentialism. To create profound meaning from nothingness is the most powerful creativity of sentient beings. I've watched some anime. I'm a newbie. Anime scores bonus points for gratuitous nudity and graphic violence, though.
Also, you need to know that I live a "gothic" lifestyle. This lifestyle encompasses my style of dress and my taste in art. It generally means that I see beauty where others don't. Think "Addams Family." I'm 31. If it were a phase I would have outgrown it by now. I dress the way I'm pictured every day. I go to work this way and I've been to multiple weddings and funerals dressed the same. I have an extremely strong sense of self and will not sacrifice it for anyone.
Now it's time for me to brag as humbly as possible to appear interesting. I need a font for sarcasm! Anyway, my talents include throwing knives pretty well, a little juggling, and I used to breathe fire (just for fun, not profit). My main hobby now is collecting things. I have an extensive collection of statues and prop replicas from my favorite horror, fantasy, and sci-fi movies. I had most of my collection in a museum for about a year. Business wasn't great so the museum no longer operates. I also started collecting autographs a couple of years ago. Mostly the autographs are from horror and sci-fi movie actors. I also collect things to entertain myself at home. I have an 8 foot pool table (red felt [to match the walls] with black trim) that takes up half my living room. I also have a ping pong table but haven't figured out where to set it up, yet. The purpose is to create an alternative style Shangri La. The most impressive thing I possess is my money management skills to acquire such things on a meager budget. My dad says some people have more dollars than sense. I'm trying to perfect the opposite.
