I was raised in Tampa and played in a few goth bands in Ybor city. It was a great experience and I met a lot of other bands, some that are still playing in Ybor like the pink Lincolns.
Later in life I had an accident and had what is a vague and inaccurate yet common way to explain it a near death experience. That means factually I died and was resuscitated as opposed to resurrected. I find it quite ironic. Perhaps its a lesson to people who are alive and are into the goth scene, you may get what you seek.
There is too much to explain what's its like in this situation but there are plenty of us almost 50 million in the world that's almost 1 percent of the population.
I think after meeting many of other NDE'rs that I have this kind of survivals guilt, I didn't go out as bad as some of them did, so I feel sorry for them or feel like after meeting them they didn't deserve to go out so rough. Most are car accidents, drownings and electrocutions. I am not those but I guess you came imagine they did go out rough. Thats the hardest thing to be honest about in my situation.
