I am searching... I am a piano instructor, amateur composer/songwriter and student hoping to become a college or high school music teacher (or if I'm lucky, a famous musician). I love life very much, but have often had a difficult time finding my place in it. I feel lost in time, a hopeless romantic and dreamer in a world of conceit and drudgery. Being an active participant in life is very important to me. I like alternative styles of clothing, art, behavior, and thought and appreciate all intelligent perspectives people have on life. I enjoy being different and being on the outside looking in. Staying true to myself but still evolving and changing is vital. And, if I could go anywhere in the world, it would be to Finland (Great music, great people!) In myself and in those whom I surround myself with, the most important qualities are balance, open-mindedness, honesty, respect, curiosity, and a strong desire to experience life to the fullest. I think it is very rare to connect to the world or to others in the best way we can as human beings, and can be difficult to extract ourselves from the boxes our lives or choices have put us in.
