This website would be better if people from * knew about it. Then they wouldnt have to pay just to meet or contact people of their interest. So all the gothic sites are either over runned by dozens of high school kids who are just damn posers anyway and the ones where all the real ones are hanging out will cost you to contact them. Trust me I've been on and it feels like a goth version of myspace.com

Unfornatly its so hard to find websites like this that are free, the internet is becoming boring.

Plus there aren't any single gothic girls to date either lol.

* It is against the rules to promote other sites in the forums, even if just by casually mentioning them within a post. We do not want people using the forums to promote other businesses.

Yes, it's so hard to find a good place online, any good place gets destroyed from within by newcomers.
Any good suggestions are welcome.

Ah it is against the rules to promote other websites? Why lol because you'er afraid this website might lose all of its people ? Well I wasn't "promoting" websites I was just telling people which websites were full of people to talk to involved with the goth scene " etc."

Actually, that is not the reason why it is against the rules to promote other websites in the forums.

We created a 'Favorite Websites' option, which appears in every member's profile page, and you are welcome to add a link to whatever site you would like (provided it is not a ---- site, or a 'hate' site). The rules are spelled out in that section.

The reason we don't want people promoting other sites in our forums is because unlike most other sites out there, we're 100% free.

We're not worried about losing members, because they don't pay us anything anyway.

We just have to have some rules in place because a 100% free site is a MAGNET for spammers.

Again, you are welcome to add the snipped site into your profile's 'Favorite Websites' section if you would like...and hopefully you'll be able to enjoy our relatively spam-free forums.

Thanks,

hmm...its been a while since i been on this site...more like posted...
alright...this my view on this...when i saw your post of this...what is exactly a poser to your point of view?...people choose there own paths in life...no one else outside can tell them what they can or cannot be...however if they do choose to follow a path they should at least have understanding and agreement to what its all about...

and as for the lack of active people here...its pretty much as simple as this...this is a free site...that means they are not making any money on this at all...and money is sadly required to promote and tell others about this site...
also...what makes you so sure...that those paysites have the so called real goths thats to seek so dearly for? you can either go these so called paysites...and hope to find...your so called real goths...and barely find anyone just like on this free site and end up wasting money...or you can take your time and take it calmly and slowly and eventually things will go well...

this is simpley my thoughts on this...anyone can agree with me or disagree...it doesn't really mean anything to me...simply putting my thoughts into this subject...

My cat tells me to burn things...
