Between illusion and reality
What do we know?
until we really know?
Nothing.
And yet we feel something
A small feeling
can be so strong
it makes u forget
everything about right and wrong
Forget,
what you should and shouldnt do
and instead you follow
your illusions
They taste so sweet
even though unreal
but youd rather have that
than to have nothing.
Nothing is what you get
when you choose illusion
over reality.
A refusal to see
what things are really like
because your heart cannot stand
the emptiness that fills it
so you prefer dust and sand
A chosen blindness
over heartbreak.
But still it is not painless
and yet you refuse to wake.
