Starting things off

Greetings and salutations.

I'd thought I'd say hi even though I'm not new and I rarely use the forums here. I'm an old school goth who is stuck in the 80's musically. I'm basically looking to meet people in my area (Vancouver, B.C., Canada). I haven't actually msg anyone here because there are so few members in BC at this site and most are of them are 18 or 19 and I don't want to be the "creepy old guy" who messages them as I'm twice their age.

i enjoy reading and writing. One of my favourite activities is going for coffee and talking away the afternoon. I'm pretty opinionated and not afraid to express those opinions but more importantly I'm not afraid to admit my opinions are wrong when its pointed out to me. Im comfortable in my own skin. Im a huge geek as well as a goth. I play board games and read comics weekly.

Anyway hopefully this post will start things off here.
